WAPDA Introduction:
Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan which is maintaining the utilities of Water and Power in the state. It was established after the independence through an act of parliament in 1958
WAPDA owns the giant dams in Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors. It is also planning on completing five more multi-dimensional barriers to cover the growing needs of the power sector.
WAPDA’s goal is to develop neat and clean energy affordable for Pakistan’s citizens to bring down the power tariff, keeping the consumers in view. The company has a self-governing network throughout the country.

WAPDA hires a Principal – WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela and Land Acquisition & Resettlement Expert. The candidates must apply from all over the country. However, the selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
Both male and female applicants are eligible for this recruitment. FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, AJK, Sindh, Punjab, and Disabled Person quotas are briefly described in the WAPDA Career Advertisements.
These employment opportunities are regularly opening. The Eligibility Criteria for these positions require Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree Qualifications in the same domain and holding previous solid experience.
Educational Degrees must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan HEC and the Pakistan Engineering Council PEC. The initial appointment shall be on a probation period of one year.
General age relaxation has already been included in the age limit. No further age relaxation shall be granted except three years of age to candidates belonging to scheduled castes, Buddhist Communities, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, GB, and AJK.
A 10 years age relaxation shall be admissible to disabled persons applying against the disabled person quota. Age will be calculated on the last date of application.
